Dan

Dan founded RTS Technology Solutions, Inc in 1999 with a vision of providing the most reliable and professional IT solutions in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Corridor area. He has over 30 years of experience in the IT industry and served as an IT consultant for numerous telecom companies before starting RTS.

Dan has expertise in the cybersecurity area which includes a US patent on a fraud detection system for long distance calling with MCI. Dan is committed to helping his clients achieve the best business results through custom technology solutions and ensures the rest of the RTS team works with the same vision in mind. He believes IT companies should be a business partner with their clients instead of another technology vendor.

Jamie

Over the last 12+ years with RTS, Jamie’s favorite part of her day is seeing the joy, relief, and appreciation on a client’s face after helping them resolve a situation. Her years of experience in IT has allowed her to work in a variety of industries and broaden her skill set. In her spare time, Jamie enjoys coaching soccer and traveling. She hopes to someday fulfill an item on her bucket list by visiting every continent in the world.

Eric

Eric’s appreciation for internet technology began when he had the opportunity to sit in on an IT class in college. He enjoys the interesting and exciting nature of his work at RTS, and every day brings a new challenge. Outside of work, Eric spends time with his daughter. He also enjoys landscaping, cooking, and board games. Wanting to see major historical events first-hand, Eric hopes that someday technology is advanced enough to support time travel.

Mindy

Mindy enjoys her work at RTS due to the evolving nature of the field and the collaborative team environment focused on client service excellence. Outside of work, Mindy enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, photography, and traveling, with one of her favorite destinations being the ocean. If she could have any superpower, Mindy would choose the ability to teleport so she could travel more easily. On bad days, Mindy's process for turning things around involves staying positive and moving forward.

Becca

Becca enjoys providing an excellent customer experience by ensuring her clients know we are there to help resolve their issues as quickly and efficiently as possible. Outside of work, Becca enjoys hiking and reading, and one day hopes to visit all the national parks in the United States. She finds her work at RTS fulfilling because she values feeling like everyone plays an important role at the company. Becca has always had an interest in the technical field and finds satisfaction in helping clients solve problems.

Ellie

Ellie has enjoyed helping her family with technical issues since childhood, a passion which inspired her to pursue software development and ultimately shaped her career. Outside of work, she enjoys time with family, watching movies, hiking, birdwatching, crafts, and puzzles.

Throughout high school, she participated in musical theater, performing in productions such as Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music. If given a superpower, Ellie would choose teleportation so she could travel the world instantly and never worry about being late. When faced with challenges, she finds strength through prayer and reflection, seeking guidance to change her outlook. Ellie's genuine kindness and attentive listening are central to how she strives to deliver an excellent experience for our clients.

Drew

Drew started to work on computers in elementary school and likes to solve technology problems, which led him to build his own computer at home. He listens to the client’s needs and is transparent and honest to give them a great experience. Outside of work Drew likes to travel, cheer for his favorite sports teams (the Hawkeyes and Cleveland pro teams), video game, and cook. He prefers to travel outside the US but does want to eventually visit all 50 states and see all 7 wonders of the world.

Rimmy

Rimmy enjoys when he gets to help others and makes their day easier by making sure they feel understood, heard, and respected on top of the technical help he provides. If a look at the bright side doesn’t improve his day, coffee and sweets will do wonders. Rimmy enjoys reading and video games. Don’t take his Kindle or headphones because he loves them that much. He is also a soccer fan/player. Having mastered several languages, he would still like to learn more to connect with even more people.

Chase

Chase started working in IT because he picked it up easily and enjoyed it. He likes to eliminate barriers between others and their technology, which he accomplishes with patience and understanding their needs to then resolve their issue. When not at RTS Chase loves to bike, run, swim, lift weights, go to car shows or shooting, or hang out with friends. A visit to Tornado’s Grub and Pub is also good. If you hadn’t guessed, Chase likes extreme sports. He ran his first ultramarathon (62 miles) in 12.5 hours.

Penny

Penny spent many years working as a programmer and systems analyst before RTS. Her interest in computers started in 2nd grade when she read "Danny Dunn and the Homework Machine". She loves getting to know clients and help with their business processes.

Penny has seen many changes in the technology field since she graduated from college with a computer science degree (one of the first from her alma mater).
